OUR STORY
My husband and I have walked through over ten years of addiction with our loved one. Those years were heartbreaking, to say the least! During that time, we attended many meetings: NA Meetings, AA Meetings, Family Night Meetings in Rehab Facilities, and even the faith-based meeting, Celebrate Recovery. What we found was that all of them were not effective in truly helping our loved one overcome addiction. I realized after ten years, that there really was no hope out there for true change. The last resort was when we visited a “faith-based” program.
What we found in the popular "faith-based" program was there were steps and information that simply were not scriptural. My loved one was desperate, and was in a life or death situation. I could not, in good conscience, give a watered down or what I call “counterfeit” program. In my desperation one morning, the Lord spoke – yes, He still speaks today – the twelve faith steps to freedom and this program was birthed! These are the 12 Faith Steps He spoke to me for true transformation and for true freedom! We hope you will open your heart and open your mind to receive from the Lord your healing. On this website, you will see the 12 steps to freedom.
We offer weekly meetings which consist of the 12 Faith Steps, small group, and encouragement not only for the one suffering from addiction but also to the whole family and friends as well. We also offer this program to any church who has a heart for the lost. It consists of the 12 steps, small-group rules, outline for meetings, PowerPoint and notes with teachings so that anyone can take this program back to their church and run a Celebrate Freedom Program.
Thank you for visiting our website and we hope you find the true freedom you are looking for! As I would say to my loved one on many occasions, “Freedom doesn’t suck!” A side note, our loved one has been free for over six years now, and what a JOY to be on the other side of this monster of addiction! P.S. My Loved one does not attend daily/weekly meetings spoken of above. Freedom has come by walking with the Lord and fulfilling the Steps in this Program. THAT is True Freedom!!
